Abstract


Blast furnace slag is a byproduct of the smelting pig iron from the blast furnace discharge , China 's annual output of blast furnace slag is about 60 million tons , the cumulative amount of the residue field has more than 1 million tons . According to the characteristics of the ingredients of the blast furnace slag , its is the main raw material for design and development of continuous casting mold fluxes can be blast furnace slag in the iron and steel enterprises internal recycling , has a role in promoting improve the level of comprehensive utilization of blast furnace slag . This article to Microsoft Visual Basic6.0 as compilation tools to access and retrieve information to domestic and foreign iron and steel enterprises in the field of continuous casting mold fluxes , and the establishment of a continuous casting mold fluxes database . Baosteel blast furnace slag as the main raw material, melting temperature meter , the rotational viscometer inclusions dissolved absorption rate meter , a comprehensive study of the different ratio of raw materials under the conditions of continuous casting mold fluxes melting temperature, viscosity , solidification temperature and Al2O3 inclusions was dissolved uptake rate and other changes in the law , and the slag system preliminary design . Under our experimental conditions , the following conclusions: ( 1) the use of a continuous casting mold fluxes database can be managed according to the kinds of steel billet continuous casting mold fluxes , the use of physical and chemical properties and chemical composition of the iron and steel enterprises at home and abroad , and its related information provide a theoretical basis for the design of the continuous casting mold fluxes and selection of applications and inquiries . (2) as the main raw material of Baosteel blast furnace slag , continuous casting mold fluxes base material can be prepared by adding wollastonite , fluorite , soda ash , synthetic cryolite . ( 3) as wollastonite equipped into the amount of the increase , the melting temperature of the continuous casting mold fluxes gradually reduce viscosity and Al2O3 dissolved absorption rate has been increased . (4) reduce the ability of the continuous casting mold fluxes melting temperature in flux content under the same conditions , in turn cryolite gt ; the fluorite and soda ash gt ; the fluorite gt ; soda ash , reduce the ability of continuous casting protective slag viscosity order fluorite and soda ash gt ; cryolite gt; fluorite , the solidification temperature of the ability to reduce the continuous casting mold fluxes order cryolite gt ; the fluorite gt ; soda ash , and improve the ability of of Al2O3 dissolved absorption rate order fluorspar and soda ash gt ; cryolite gt ; fluorite .
