Abstract

The solubility parameter is an important parameter to study polymer dissolved in the polymer industry received wide attention, studies have shown that just for pure substances. The raw materials or products in the industrial production or experimental studies often is not a pure substance, or less contain a number of impurities or additives, which limits the use of the solubility parameter. Often in the research process or need purification object of study, or simply ignore the influence of impurities, but in the end the presence of impurities in the polymer solubility parameter has no effect or how much impact did not see the reports. In order to makes the solubility parameter can also be used in these systems, to the impact of impurities on the polymer solubility parameter, and select a commonly used polypropylene special coatings adhesion promoting agent chlorinated polypropylene, for example a study. Firstly, using thin layer chromatography to verify the presence of the CPP-4 was blended, and then choose the best conditions for the separation and purification of the CPP. Then four chlorinated polypropylene purified and purified before chlorine content analysis and its results are discussed. The conclusion is that, for the ink with a chlorine content of 30% of the chlorinated polypropylene is CPP-2, the impurity is its high chloride, a byproduct of the synthesis of. As for the chlorine content in the coating for the vicinity of 25% of the chlorinated polypropylene is CPP-4, the impurity is in order to improve its performance artificially added, the chlorine content is lower than the original pure sample. Measured before and after the purification of the chlorine content of chlorinated polypropylene dissolved in various solvents, the results show that for the selected 38 kinds of solvent, purification of the dissolution properties of the sample before and after no change. Further, Hansen's method, optimization is obtained the two chlorinated polypropylene for ink and for coating the three-dimensional solubility parameter and Hansen Method accuracy of the three-dimensional solubility parameter are discussed. The turbidimetric titration law is one of the most classic method of determination of polymer solubility parameters. Caused by experimental errors mainly due to the judgment of the cloud point, this article uses a laser turbidity titration method, first determine a unified approach to determine the endpoint of the titration experiments to improve the precision of the results. The solubility parameter of solvent and precipitating agent turbidimetric assay. Determination of the solubility parameters of the different chlorine content of chlorinated polypropylene purified around, as the chlorine content increases, the solubility parameter becomes large. And experimental results also indicate the presence of impurities on the solubility parameters of chlorinated polypropylene there is a certain impact, but not. Intrinsic viscosity method for the determination of the solubility parameter of the CPP-4 impurity found its solubility parameter value is obtained than the the Hansen method or turbidity titration purified CPP-4 solubility parameter must be high, indicating that one of the impurities polarity higher.
