Abstract

Background: The occurrence of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and plaque instability . The inflammatory response induced plaque instability . High - sensitivity C - reactive protein (Hs-CRP) is a systemic and local inflammatory markers , is closely related with the severity of coronary lesions . Play an important role in the imbalance of proteases and protease inhibitors may also plaque stability . Cystatin C as a protease inhibitor , the concentration in the serum of patients with ACS may reflect the stability of the plaque . The hyperlipidemia of high homocysteine ??(Hcy) is an independent risk factor for coronary heart disease , forecast the stability of the plaque . Objective: To investigate patients with ACS of serum cystatin C of Hcy and Hs-CRP concentration changes with plaque stability relationship . Methods : divided into stable angina pectoris (UAP) group , within 48 hours of the onset of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and control groups . Simultaneous determination of serum Cystatin C, HsCRP and Hcy . Results : Hs-CRP and Hcy increased in the UAP group and AMI group than the control group (P values ??were lt; 0.05 ) , and AMI group and UAP group there are also significant differences (P = lt; 0.05 ) . Cystatin C UAP group than in the control group increased (P = lt ; 0.05 ) in AMI group lower than the control group (P = lt ; 0.05) . The linear correlation analysis showed Hcy and Hs-CRP was positively correlated (correlation coefficient 0.61 , P value lt; 0.01 ) . UAP group Serum Cystatin C concentration of Hcy, Hs-CRP was positively correlated ( correlation coefficients were 0.22,0.36 , P values ??lt; 0.05 ) in the AMI group , no correlation ( correlation coefficients were -0.04,0.12 P values ??were 0.77,0.43 ) . Conclusion : The serum Hcy and Hs-CRP levels has a good correlation with atherosclerotic plaque unstable severity increased . Combined detection of both can help to understand the disease , and provide the basis to guide therapy and prognosis . Serum Cystatin C concentration changes can be reflected to some extent the stability of the atherosclerotic plaque .
