Abstract

The city is the important carrier of the development and evolution of splendid culture of our nation in 5000 years. With the development of economy and the progress of technology, the constructions of cities have been greatly developed and the appearance of cities is fast changing day by day. The issues of protection and renewal to the historical blocks have been taken into an important considerations since the arising of a hot wave of rebuilding the ancient cities in the middle and late 1980s.With the contradictions between protection and development in the renewal of historical blocks becoming clearer, how do we make the parks in the historical blocks satisfy the needs of renewal of historical blocks? How do we deal well with the relationships between the old and new constructions and the tradition and dynasty both inside and outside the parks while clearing the cultural inheritance and development by constructing? How do we make the entirely benefit of parks match the planning and styles of the historical blocks those days, also satisfy the requirements to the city parks of the historical blocks those days through a series of renewal measures? These issues are brought out and analyzed in this paper, and some referrible thoughts are expected to be supplied to the development of parks in the historic blocks for other cities.Historical and cultural accumulation which is long and profound is the advantage that the parks rely on in the building of city historical blocks. Based on the related academic studying of historic blocks and parks renewal, to the present issues in the historical blocks, this paper points out some projects and methods of parks renewal mainly from the basic rule, progress, content and method these four aspects. And the related principles in the park rebuilding in the protection and renewal of city historical blocks are also applied in the redesigning and rebuilding of YuHu Park in XiangTan city for further proving. The thesis holds the opinion that the reform of historical block park should consider the principles of opening,biology,humanity and sustained development under the basis of keeping protective, intigral, and cultural transitive,accoring the the research on the theory and effective example.In light of the collect between sectional culture and nature character; the analyse of sectional historical culture and nature character; the confirmation of object with plan; the program design reform; the preservation and management of perspective after reform, the reform should follow the five steps above. Many historical cultural architecture should be protected and renewed by the approach such as conserve,protect,groom,renew,and remove during the process of reform; restore the historical humanism scenery; protect and make use of the discarded industrial structure and material; preserve inphysical culture heritage as the traditional craft, art, folklore and fairy tales; to resolve the amalgamative problem between park and block through melt the culture with form. Exert the strategies of "apposition", "transposition","interval-position" to make a necessary conservation to the nature scenery and interrelated facility of the park by hold the city’s whole layout and the current situation of park construct under the basis of emphasising the park topic. So that it can erect a salient feature in the flourish country, put a graceful style to the park, improve the common development between block and park.
