The rapid development of urbanization is putting pressure on limited land resources the human high intensity land development directly led to the decline of land ecosystem , ecological issues are emerging , these issues have increasingly become a bottleneck in the development of the city . The rapid urbanization process led to the expansion of city size , high intensity of human activity that alters the urban land use , land cover types , different from the natural surface of the \Longer time scales , the more pronounced impact of climate change on hydrology and water resources , but the short-term , land use / cover change is caused by the urban water security issues . This paper to address the issue of urban water security core objective of the paper , in accordance with the procedures , mechanisms , effects , optimize the research ideas , and to explore the process of analysis of the high intensity of human activity quickly urbanized areas of land use / cover change , the driving force , hydrological effects and as a basis for the city 's limited land resources , optimize the allocation of land cover to optimize the design , propose workable recommendations and measures to promote the study of regional hydrological effects of urbanization , urbanized area hydrological processes virtuous circle promote the optimization of land use types , scientific guidance, urban land use layout has a important practical guidance role . China's current high intensity of human activity areas of land use , regional development and urban construction provide effective decision support and security .
