Abstract


With the continuous development of spatial database technology , the application of qualitative spatial reasoning in geographic information systems has become increasingly diverse . As an important branch of the field of spatial reasoning , the reasoning of the main direction of the relationship has attracted many experts and scholars to conduct in-depth exploration and research . A class of problem has attracted the attention of many people , and that given the main direction of the relationship between a series of space objects and their spatial relationship network formed to judge this series of cardinal direction relations are consistent , as well as how a consistency network to find a consistent scenario , this article will discuss this problem . First, this paper, based on the the MBR model space cardinal direction relations reasoning to discuss in-depth discussion of the consistency test algorithm based on the MBR , and combined Beek proposed search algorithm based the consistency scenes of the interval algebra proposed a the MBR model of consistency The scene search algorithm . Second, due to the MBR model is an approximate representation of the space objects do not necessarily indicate the true relationship between space objects . In order to overcome this limitation, and the correctness of the reasoning , the introduction direction relation matrix model to the direction relation matrix to represent the relationship between the object MBR analyzed in this case based on the matrix calculation method , and in each direction the relationship between synthesis of theory and the opposite direction of the direction of the relationship matrix relationship .
