Abstract

This study aimed to explore the different dimensions of L2 proficiency level on oral systemic effects. In this study, \horizontal \In this study, the specific research questions are: 1) understanding of the \? 4) productive \This study used quantitative research and qualitative research combined approach. In the quantitative study, 70 subjects in this study conducted a series of English language proficiency tests, specifically including the understanding of the \testing. In qualitative research, the main use of observation and Comparative Law, qualitative analysis of the four subjects in English proficiency test and oral proficiency test performance. Test results constitute a quantitative empirical research data. Quantitative analysis was performed using SPSS statistical analysis software and path analysis software LISREL. The resulting linear structural causal model shows two language levels, there are three factors - the ability of L2 productive vocabulary, second language listening ability and second language writing skills have a direct impact on the level of spoken and can explain 64% of the second language spoken variability. Causal model shows two output language spoken vocabulary ability for the greatest impact. \Among them, the second language vocabulary ability to understand spoken language on the two largest indirect effects, and with the two language levels of other factors most connected. Qualitative research support and complement the results of quantitative analysis. Results of this study has both theoretical value, but also has practical significance. Theoretically, first, this study established a causal model of the impact on the level of second language spoken second language level factors into a systematic framework for research. Future research could use a larger sample to further validate or amend this model; also investigate whether the model for English majors or graduate; also in the present study, based on adding other new variables, expanding influence factors scale. Second, this study of the \This causal models show what factors in the study of second language oral proficiency, the need to distinguish between English comprehension and production capabilities. From a practical sense, first of all, the findings show that raising the level of second language spoken second language output depends on the accumulation of vocabulary, listening and speaking skills as well as the coordinated development of second language writing skills to promote. Secondly, English teachers and students can be causal model established in this study raise the level of impact on the real reason for speaking to remedy. In research methods, quantitative research and qualitative research combined path analysis and structural equation modeling research in the field of second language spoken successful application, expanding the oral study research methods and research tools.
