Abstract

Volleyball project was one of the College Physical Education, in particular, to carry out elective course since volleyball elective course, how to improve the quality of teaching, is to further improve important aspects of college sports curriculum reform, in order to reveal the actual situation of Volleyball Elective Course and problem, we use the knowledge of sociology, pedagogy, school sports disciplines, using questionnaires, structured interview, mathematical statistics method of investigation and analysis in Hefei area college volleyball activities status quo, to improve Volleyball Elective Course Teaching advancing curriculum reform to provide a reference, the results showed that: 1. More reasonable age structure of teachers as the backbone to young and middle-aged; but most teachers lack basic theoretical knowledge, research capacity is weak, low education levels. 2. Most teachers not timely updating of knowledge, lack of innovation capability, teaching methods and means scientific level is not high; few extracurricular activities guide college students for volleyball training. 3. Volleyball course irrational allocation of resources; college students understand the importance of physical exercise and could not devote all our energies to the volleyball activities which. 4. Inadequate investment volleyball venues and equipment, with enough reasonable, in some places there is a waste of resources phenomenon. 5. The teaching content Athletical, less theoretical content arrangements; assessment complexity out of touch with the actual game. 6. In school, rarely carry a volleyball game, fewer college students the opportunity to participate in the competition. 7. The main factors restricting the Hefei area college volleyball activities: teacher factors, student factors, volleyball project their own factors, teaching security conditions factors, factors of teaching content, teaching management factors and athletic competition factors.
