Abstract


The construction waste Unprecedented increased with the construction industry rapid development. On the one hand construction wastes take up a lot of land, and causing serious environmental problems; On the other hand along with China’s GDP increases rapidly, the contradiction of national strength enhanced and sustainable development increasingly sharp. Recycled concrete brick is a kind of new wall material, and reached 80% of the utilization rate of construction. The sustainable development of the construction industry realized, and a good economic and social benefits and environmental benefits are produced.A systematic study is made in this paper for recycled aggregate, recycled concrete perforated brick and recycled aggregate production process. A total of 15 different types of recycled aggregate were prepared in the laboratory according to the pour proportion in recycled aggregate and fine aggregate proportion in the aggregate. The gregate gradation, apparent density, water absorption and crush index such as characteristics experimented according to standard. A total of 7 different types of recycled aggregate perforated brick were prepared in the laboratory according to the aggregate category, and the performance of perforated brick experimented according to the pour proportion. Recycled concrete perforated brick’s experimental investigation included compressive strength, flexural strength of mechanical properties test and drying shrinkage, frost resistance, carbide, softening etc of endurance experiment. A simple crushing production process is puted forward according to the research results of the recycled aggregate of the actual requirements.The main conclusions are:1) The national standard for natural fine aggregate requirements is satified by recycled aggregate; A strong linear relationship directly have be showed of apparent dencity, water absortion and crush index of recycled aggregate. So, the crush indexes could be comprehensively reflected all performances of the recycled aggregate.2) The compressive strength of recycled concrete bricks is higher, the drying shrinkage, water aborstion of recycled concrete bricks is bigger, and freeze resistance and carbonation is good performance.3) Recycled aggregate concrete brick should take simple production process. This process has high efficiency and low production cost characteristic. Production process is divided into four steps: building junk pretreatment - artificially screening - broken - screening four simple steps. Simple production process has two organization forms.Recycled concrete perforated brick is green new materials. If countries could provide favorable policies and related standard, it will become an excellent masonry material.
