Abstract

Objective To investigate the intra-arterial chemotherapy / embolism clinical efficacy in the treatment of patients with cervical cancer and significance . Methods A retrospective analysis of 101 cases of cervical cancer from January 2001 to January 2009 in the Ningxia Medical University Hospital gynecological inpatient accept arterial infusion chemotherapy / embolization , arterial infusion chemotherapy / embolism treatment effect . 1.94 cases of successful completion of the arterial chemoembolization , seven cases of tumor-infiltrating tumor blood supply branch more vascular distortion or obvious variation factors make the pelvic blood supply is unclear superselective the only arterial infusion chemotherapy without embolization . Arterial infusion chemotherapy / embolization in patients with vaginal bleeding , lumbosacral pain and lower abdomen, anus bulge symptoms showed significant improvement , clinical remission rate of 100% , seven cases of bleeding in patients with intra-arterial chemotherapy / embolization vagina bloodshed were stopped . 3.95 cases of intra-arterial chemotherapy / before embolization after using the B ultrasound measurement of changes in tumor size , the results showed that postoperative tumor volume was significantly reduced , with a total effective rate of 78.95% . Arterial infusion chemotherapy / embolization in 79 cases of surgical opportunity , surgery rate of 78.22% , all patients undergoing surgical procedures smoothly and achieve the desired resection , cervical lesions was significantly reduced , the parametrium local anatomical clear , parametrium soft flexible, easy separation surgery ureteral tunnel , less vaginal bladder gap , bladder cervix gap and rectovaginal gap , bleeding . Arterial infusion chemotherapy / embolization significantly lower tumor grade . Conclusion 1 . Cervical cancer patients before surgery or radiotherapy before arterial infusion chemotherapy / embolism , can significantly improve the clinical symptoms, significantly reduce the tumor volume , lower tumor grade , resection rate for patients with no previous surgical opportunities to fight the chance of operation . Arterial infusion chemotherapy / embolism is the integrated part of the treatment of cervical cancer , as adjunctive treatment of cervical cancer patients is feasible and safe , side effects , the therapeutic value , good application prospect worthy of promotion.
