The present thesis, by means of literature analysis and questionnaire, discusses the theory of mathematical inquiring teaching, investigates and analyzes the current situation of the implementation of mathematical inquiring teaching in the experimental area of the national mathematical curriculum reform. Based on these, some suggestions are put forward on the implementation of mathematical inquiring teaching in terms of administration, teachers’ training and operational strategies.The thesis is made up of three parts. Part One: Theoretical Analysis of Mathematical Inquiring TeachingBy looking back on the history of the formation and development of inquiring teaching, the author demonstrates the background for inquiring teaching in the national mathematical curriculum reform, and discusses the connotation and the value of mathematical inquiring teaching as well as the classroom condition, classification, categories and designing on the implementation of mathematical inquiring teaching.Part Two: Investigation and Analysis of the Current Situation of Mathematical Inquiring Teaching on the Implementation of Junior High-School New Curriculum.Based on the results of questionnaire on the current situation of the implementation of mathematical inquiring teaching in the experimental area of the national curriculum reform, analysis of the advantage of mathematical inquiring teaching is done: It is helpful to develop the students’ creative spirits and the practical ability, helpful for the students to develop comprehensively and helpful for the teachers to improve their specialty, at the same time, analysis of the major problem in the process of implementing this kind of teaching is also presented: It is rather difficult to take the students’ differences into consideration and to conduct classes in line with the specific contents, It is a challenge to the mathematics teachers. Part Three: Suggestions for Inquiring Teaching on the implementation of the Mathematics New Curriculum in Junior High-SchoolThis part provides some suggestions for mathematical inquiring teaching from three aspects: management, teachers’ training and operational strategies.
