Abstract


As distributed software development standards and one of the architecture , CORBA technology in the continuous development and improvement , and thus the study of CORBA technology has practical significance and commercial value . The subject first learn and the CORBA basic theory and basic knowledge of architecture and middleware implementation mechanism . Then in the study based on CORBA 's multi-tier distributed application design and development on the basis of the combination of a subsystem of the Experimental Center of the School of Computer Science Teaching Management System ---- the online exam subsystem design and development , and in-depth understanding and research combined with JBuilder Visibroker for Java to develop distributed applications based on CORBA technology and methods , as well as learning and comparison of several mainstream technology for distributed object . The entire system component design , including teaching management system implemented using JSP JavaBean components , while the the online exams subsystem design and development , mainly taking into account the complexity and distribution , with a multi-layer structure of the system development methods , examination subsystem exams , exercises , etc., were established associated interface definition to the the distributed middle of logical service layer released by CORBA technology . Since the main users of the system for students and teachers , in order to facilitate their use of the system , the client establishes a flexible CORBA-based client software to achieve the targeted relatively strong the curriculum exercises or examinations friendly interface . Also use the browser to complete such as system information , information queries, and online communication . System for the components the multiplexing and scalability of the system of providing a sufficient space.
