Abstract


In the 1970s , the study of code switching began to rise . However , when the research is mainly for the language code conversion bilingual society . With the development of English teaching , the researchers began to study for the code switching in the classroom , especially in the primary and secondary classroom code switching became the focus of the study . In recent years for the College English classroom code switching is also increasing , but there are few English professional graduate classroom teacher code switching . Verschueren language conform to the theory and Krashen 's input theory based English professional graduate classroom teachers ' code switching , this study uses the observation , quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis of a combination of methods . Authors as participants in the classroom of English professional graduate class three - year observational study , and six teachers in classroom discourse recording . Turn to write the thesis writing process on the part of the recording material , and these corpus as the basis for a quantitative and qualitative analysis . The study found that the English professional graduate classroom teachers code switching is more frequent . How to make students digestion and absorption of these theories is the focus of the teaching , so that teachers will often transition from L2 to L1 language code . The Linguistic Theory obscure , only to ensure that a lot of comprehensible input in order to enable students to grasp these theories . English professional graduate classroom teacher code switching function has its own characteristics.
