Abstract


Over the past decade, it has proved that development of the Internet information services is the direct driving force to the communication technology. 3G technology (short for third generation mobile communication technology) holds foreland of modern human communication, which includes 3G technology standards, system communication network innovation, and 3G system terminal application software innovation, etc. Movable and real-time of wireless information transmission are the core characteristics of 3G technology.This paper, based on the status of mobile communication technology, analyzes current mobile library service model deficiencies and 3G mobile library service model and the influence that 3G brings to the library. Finally, development strategies and some suggestions on library service mode are mentioned.
