With rapid speed of the aged tendency of population, the problem of providing for the aged has become global issues of common concern. Not only is the population of our country the most of the world, but also the aged population, the fifth national census shows that China has gradually entered the aging society, providing for the aged has been a problem matching with the plan of the country and the living of the people. Meanwhile,60% of the population dwells in the rural areas, so the key of providing the old is in the rural areas. As industrialization and urbanization is accelerating, both rural family structure and young people’s ideas have changed a lot, the function of the traditional old provide become worse day by day, providing for the aged in the rural areas has become to a big problem, and it is also a major obstacle for the government to solve the problem of’agriculture, country, famer’. Retirement provision system in China’s rural area has been changed a lot from 1949, however, normative form has not been founded. Most old fames live by family-based. The problem of providing for the aged is very rigorous, it is not assort with the target of founding harmonious society and the development of the rural areas.The emphasis of providing the old in our country is in the rural areas. This paper elaborates retirement provision system of country in china at first, analyzing its characters and problems, introducing retirement provision system of country in Japan, summarize the experience of successful and proposing the advice of consummating retirement provision system of country in China.
