Abstract


Radix is now recognized as one of the traditional Chinese medicine with antiviral few . Data show that ethanol as solvent extraction of active ingredients with water as a solvent than water extraction and alcohol precipitation method is more effective extraction of Radix Indirubin other unique fat-soluble ingredients. The experimental method using ethanol , after ultrafiltration to remove components of molecular weight of 10,000 or more , in order to reduce cytotoxicity, with distilled water in 10% of crude drug concentration, extraction solution as a pale yellow liquid. With homemade ethanol extract of Radix to explore for herpes simplex virus type 1 and Sendai virus, antiviral , anti -virus since perfect Radix Radix spectrum and for the study to provide evidence of antiviral mechanisms . Combined with CPE and MTT method, more objective sensitively reflect vero cell lesions caused by herpes viruses degree and virus attacks cells of drugs on cell protection rate , in order to reflect the effect of anti-herpes virus Radix . The results showed that 1:2,1:4,1:8 dilution of Radix extract on herpes virus have a therapeutic effect and direct inactivation preventive effect is not obvious. With red blood cell assay proved equally dilution of the liquid have a therapeutic effect on Sendai virus inactivation and direct , no significant preventive effect. Description Radix not induce antiviral mechanism of defense against viruses , but directly kill the virus or virus adsorption effects , or inhibition of viral replication , but the effect on viral replication when a process in which disturbed , pending further study.
