Abstract


Northern Song Dynasty culture and the Tang culture compared seemed closed , introverted . However , the Northern Song mature period calligraphy criticism is an exception. It is neither closed nor restrained , but in an unprecedented spirit of innovation has injected new blood into the Northern Song calligraphy , the Northern Song Dynasty calligraphy is thereby freshmen and ultimate prosperity . This innovative spirit in a lot of people it seems incredible , more difficult to understand , it is completely a deviant behavior of revolution , it is this revolutionary behavior determines the Northern Song calligraphy distinctive and artistic status in the history of calligraphy . This article consists of three main parts: the first part of the interpretation of the social and cultural background of the Northern Song Dynasty , understand the criticism of the status of the Northern Song Dynasty calligraphy and calligraphy , and a profound understanding of the ecological environment of the Northern Song Dynasty calligraphy culture .
