Abstract


Consumer requirements are consist of two parts: personal requirements and government requirements. In this paper, I mainly discuss the former requirements but not the latter. The reason why I choose the item is that the final purpose of our national economic development is to meet the requirement of residents’ continuous material and spiritual progress, and the peoples’ consuming condition embody the living level. So the study of Chongqing residents’ consumption can lay basis for the city’s industry construction and national economy, promote people’s income and living conditions.Consumption colleted with economical development closely. The former pull the development of economy and the latter push the development of former. So, it’ s very important to improve the consuming condition of residents’ .Consumption rate is not high enough compared the rate with that of developed countries in the same period. The low rate leads to the insufficient of residents’ consuming. Consumption increasing rate fluctuated together income increasing rate. This means incoming level is so important to consumption.To illustrate the consumption trend, some data about incoming and consume are given. The trend is different between urban and rural residents. The descend of rural trend is the main course of consumption drop.In this paper, consumption construction is explained by consuming features and constructional change inclination. In the last, the paper analyzes the common character of urban-rural residents’ through SPSS software.All of the above result in the last part of the paper: occurred problemand solving ways. To illustrate the former, some items are presented, that is the low income of inhabitants’, expenditure anticipate increasing, imperfect of social security system and consuming circumstance, etc. In the latter part, some ways are presented, consumption focus(including housing, tourism, electric family equipment, etc) are needed to push the improve of economy, increase income, perfect social security. And also, measures should be taken to encourage consumption. Consolidate consumer’ market and circumstances. All these ways are required to push the development of our consuming market and economy.
