Abstract

Ultrasonic polishing technology could be used to polish the mold cavity.Ultrasonic power is one of the main equipment in ultrasonic polishing system to undertake the waveform generation, inspection, monitoring, power control and circuit protection. This paper carried out theoretical and experimental research relating to the problem that the resonant frequency during the ultrasonic polishing processing can not be automatically identified in the current application of ultrasonic power supply. Specific studies carried out are as follows:1. According to the characteristics of ultrasonic polishing, the composition of ultrasonic polishing and the ultrasonic power supply load are analyzed and functions of each part are studied, and a circuit model for the piezoelectric transducer is established.2. Based on the ultrasonic power load circuit model, this paper derived the theory of dynamic parameters of the circuit measurement, and by combining with practical applications, introduced the dynamic resonance frequency measurement method and a manual test validation method.3. In the case of the resonant frequency known, the load of ultrasonic power is matched to ensure the power working in the best condition.4. According to the theoretical study of resonant frequency and the dynamic testing method of resonant frequency, the detection experiment of the resonant frequency was carried out, and by comparing the dynamic measurements with the theoretical measurements , the feasibility of dynamic measurement verified.5. According to the designed matching circuit, the driver load test was done, and the test results proved the accuracy and feasibility of the method effectively.Based on the above work, this paper theoretically solved the problem that the ultrasonic power can not be identified or matched automatically in the application of ultrasonic polishing. Related experiments have showed the effectiveness and feasibility of this approach and provided a theoretical basis for the future study of ultrasonic power.
