Abstract


Discourse marker is a common linguistic phenomenon in verbal communication play an important role. Currently, the presence of discourse markers of a variety of methods and angles, for its name, classification, characteristics and function, it is also the formation of a variety of perspectives. However, in this study, many of spoken discourse markers studied far more than in written discourse in its study, and written articles on research discourse markers are used for writing and related guidance language teaching, few involved in the Discourse Reading role and related aspects of teaching. In view of this, the article written discourse discourse markers as the research object, from a functional point of view of its syntax element function has been systematically studied, analyzed and discussed in English Discourse Reading Comprehension role and design Reading in College English Classroom Teaching discourse markers in order to promote a viable model for text reading efficiency.
