Abstract

Language Vagueness used widely in all aspects of human language . In recent years, many domestic and foreign linguists vague language has been committed to specific applications in a variety of genres , including from the pragmatic point of view to analyze the vague language is the language scholars at home and abroad in recent years, quite interested in the subject . The diplomatic language in use vague language is particularly significant , diplomatic and general language is not the same, it is special in that diplomatic work diplomatically as a carrier , dealing with the affairs of sovereign countries , characterized by its biggest diplomatic home are good at using vague language. Homes are often vague language as a foreign policy tool and verbal skills to meet specific occasions , such as a courtesy , and create a harmonious atmosphere to avoid sensitive topics, thus contributing to the smooth conduct of diplomatic activities continue . This paper first reviews a number of languages ??and Western scholars in the fuzzy language of academic research in this field and their respective theoretical perspectives , starting from the vague meaning , describes the different language linguists and scholars in understanding the nature of ambiguity , vague language basic characteristics , their causes , and to distinguish with the ambiguity of several concepts easy to confuse .
