Abstract


The Appellation Research Although it is not a new topic, based on the importance of practical application, still has high research value. Appellation is an important part in the verbal communication, reflects the speaker with the different levels of the power of discourse. In this paper, from a sociological point of view to analyze the the generational discourse power Appellation. Select of the Tianmen shihe Zhenyang Shek Village Yangxing, the family as a case study, made a preliminary study on the use of local generational Appellation. Use Foucault and Bourdieu's theory to analyze the region generational appellation, through the collection of linguistic phenomena, analysis of the cultural characteristics of generational appellation, from a sociological and cultural perspective to explore the generational Appellations linguistics functions and cultural impact, and expand the understanding of generational Appellations and generational Appellation. In this paper, a total of five parts. The first chapter of the preamble, the first summary of Kinship Terms and study at home and abroad in recent years the situation and existing problems, and then introduces the purpose, meaning and methods of this study. Chapter II, is mainly the introduction of the theory. Discourse and the concept of the power of discourse, Foucault theoretical discourse, knowledge and power, and Bourdieu's sociological research has made the introduction of the system, its core concept, field and capital. Foucault and Bourdieu's sociological studies have shown that, the DISCOURSE hidden non-peaceful space, a discourse of power against power is inherent in knowledge, power and knowledge in discourse linked. The third chapter introduces the the Tianmen generational Appellations use. This region has a special cultural Shijiahe culture, this culture influenced by Confucian culture, in the role of the family tree to produce generational Appellations, summed up the three principles: the generational Appellation years Zun respected the chaos pro chaotic family. Chapter 4, the study of the theory Tianmen generational Appellations combination of theory to reveal generational Appellation discourse unequal power relations. Introduce the field of traditional family relations, the relationship between knowledge and Confucian culture, capital and genealogy. In a domain of the traditional family, the Confucian culture as the collective consciousness of the knowledge of the ruling class. Genealogy as a cultural capital (power), and is considered to have the power to become the symbolic capital (power). Traditional family (Field), Confucian culture (Knowledge) exist as a resource of power and expression through generational Appellation (discourse), genealogy (powers) and Confucian culture (knowledge) discourse, the discourse of power inequality . Chapter 5, conclusions summarize and generalize the previous chapters, as well as the introduction of this study found and limitations. Elaborated knowledge as power resources discourse unequal power relations. By analyzing generational phenomenon Appellations reveal the knowledge and power of the alliance as a medium through discourse, the discourse unequal power relationship. Interpret discourse of power relations, Foucault and Bourdieu's theory provides the basis of sociological theory, open new ideas to the field of discourse studies, the discourse of power relations research so that readers can gain a deeper understanding of Foucault and Bourdieu's theory.
