Abstract

The main contents of the present paper is the oxygen anionic polymerization of the methyl acrylate monomer . We use the oxygen anion polymerization synthesis methacrylate delicate structure (well-defined) benzyloxy end groups (BzO-) -2 - ( N , N - dimethylamino ) ethyl methacrylate (DMAEMA) polymer . Research BzO-PDMAEMA micellization behavior in aqueous solution , and as macromolecular emulsifier used in the emulsion polymerization of styrene . BzO-PDMAEMA obvious surface activity in an aqueous solution having a critical micelle concentration (CMC) value varies with changes in the molecular weight of the polymer , the pH of the solution ; BzO-PDMAEMA as macromolecular emulsifiers for styrene . the emulsion polymerization can be used in an amount slightly lower its CMC value when in neutral and acidic conditions to obtain a stable , polystyrene latex particles of the particle size distribution narrower . In addition, we also used the of potassium benzyl alcohol (BzOK) as an initiator, followed by initiation of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and DMAEMA monomer copolymerizable obtain a narrow molecular weight distribution BzO -PMMA -b -PDMAEMA ; in opposite The order of addition , BzO-PDMAEMA-b-PMMA diblock copolymer . The structure of the copolymer using ~ 1HNMR, FTIR were characterized . ~ 1HNMR and GPC analysis of the polymer molecular weight and molecular weight distribution . Comparing different order of addition of the obtained block copolymer, the same \
