Abstract

Objective: To study tongqiaojiannao capsule on experimental cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats . Methods : Wistar rats were 60 , with bilateral carotid artery ligation incomplete cerebral ischemia and reperfusion 45min 90min models : rats were randomly divided into six groups each of 10 : ① sham control group ② ③ Chinese medicine treatment of small -dose group therapy dose group ④ ⑤ ⑥ Chinese medicine treatment of high-dose group, positive drug nimodipine group , six animals were measured after reperfusion brain tissue superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde ( MDA) and mitochondrial activity in brain tissue , Fas protein expression , ① ② ⑤ randomly selected two groups each of brain tissue electron microscopy. Results : tongqiaojiannao capsules can be significantly increased SOD content, reducing the generation of MDA , enhanced mitochondrial enzyme activity , to reduce the expression of Fas , ultrastructural damage reduction . Conclusion: tongqiaojiannao capsules on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion has significant protective effect and its mechanism against free radicals and inhibit lipid peroxidation , protecting mitochondria from damage , anti- apoptosis and maintaining the integrity of cell structure and function and so on.
