Abstract


Chinese adverbs of degree in ancient times has been developed to form a basic integrity of the system . Based on the semantic difference will be divided into \overall features are discussed, Middle Chinese adverbs of degree of syntactic function is a single, very fixed position in the sentence , only to modify adjectives and verbs , nouns can not be modified for the vast majority as adverbial and complement ; it semantic orientation are more obvious , \adverbs of degree three semantic language outside toward the center in addition to the majority of items and was kind enough to compare comparable items are linked. This degree adverbs while the development and changes in the medieval stage conducted a description , the other on the newly created Middle Chinese Adverb \were analyzed.
