Abstract


Fei Ming is a outstanding writer in our country’s modern history of literature, he founded the idyll novel tradition, later both Shen Congwen and Wang Zengqi who have carried forward this tradition acknowledged that they have received his works’influence; He wrote his novel in the way which“the Chinese use to write the jueju poem”,his works have been called“prose novel as the lyric poetry”by the commentator as an unique literary style form; He merges Confucianist’s social responsibilities, Taoism’s unique, the Buddhism’s Perception into one organic whole, which has formed his works’unique artistic charm; He devotes in praising character’s moral excellence, custom’s purity, but all these can’t cover the sad main key in his work; Although his work can afford to the word of“fine”, but because his works are obscure and difficult to understand , his works are“alone like the island in the sea”in the modern novel domain .- - this is Fei Ming,“before after death all lonely”writer in modern history of literature.Time and space are two fundamental modes of the motion of matter. Any thing is always in certain time and space. Time’s eternity, life’s limited, space’s infinite, oneself constrained has always been the literature subject. The novel as a kind of literary style form, time is a indispensable factor in its narrative process, the spatial research of the novel also receives more and more regarding in the recent years. Because time-space processing in the novels as a "significant form" often come from the writer’s deep intention and the inner meaning of the works .Fei Ming in this work called "Bridge" merged Taoism and Buddhism’s time idea together. In the work time is nearly static, and it has adopted the flashback way in the whole. In it also showed Fei Ming’s unique judgment in processing of work’s narrative space and choice of the spatial image. Fei Ming carried his attempt“prose novel as the lyric poetry”from the time and the spatial processing like this, which has formed his works unique artistic charm.
