Abstract


For the realization of automatic manufacture and the purpose of resource’s share, this paper does some research on a web-based computer aided design system. On the base of analyzing general network models, a mixed model of Client/Server and Brower/Server is brought forward according to actual environment, and a web-based system of CAD is studied and accomplished through connecting commercial system of CAD. Some key technologies, such as system topology structure, database designing, security control, are discussed. The corresponding solutions are provided in the paper. The system makes it possible that people browse CAD drawing, transfer and storage files of drawing by Internet. Finally, the further study is proposed.
