This study is a 24 -bit absolute optical shaft encoder , this encoder in the structural design with traditional encoder difference is that : 1) the coarse code dynasty automatic compensation system . 2) illumination system using a solid state light sources , the aspheric condenser system . Remove the complex optical lighting system , so that the axial size of the encoder greatly reduced, as compared to the similar previous encoder , the size of the amount of compression than doubled . 3) the use of dense beads shafting shafting accuracy . 4 ) with long reading the four fine reading head and a crude reading head to work at the same time , reducing the code disk and shafting long period error . The difference lies in the circuit design : the microcontroller software refinements subdivision means to replace the original resistor chain , the main advantages of the apparatus of this subdivision is: 1 . The circuit is simple , easy to debug . 2 . Structural improvements to improve the quality of the original moire fringe signal to improve the segmentation accuracy . 3 . SCM software segments , obtain higher multiples segments , thereby increasing the absolute optical shaft encoder resolution and accuracy . The encoder angular resolution is 0.078 \2 . Thus achieve high-precision detection and real-time control of the angular position , space science , automation and the building of national defense and other fields to meet the needs of high-precision, high - resolution absolute optical shaft encoder .
