Since nineteen eighties , with the deepening reform of socialist market economy , urban and rural labor market integration and the improvement of rural productivity , there are massive supply of labor force folw to the town gradually . According to the research of State Statistical Bureau of 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities ) , 6.8 million rural residents and 7,100 multiple administrative villages , the total number of migrant workers is up to 229.78 million by the year 2009 , including 14533 million people out , compared with the previous year , the total number of migrant workers increase 4.36 million . At present , the migrant wokers has become an important part of our country’s industrial workers , who contribute a lot to the development of our economy and sociaty .These workers on one hand make great contribution to the development of cities , on the other hand endure employment discrimination and material loss , invasion of rights and mental pain , which now arouse much concern universally . This paper will focus on these issues and do some preliminary exploration . Firstly , the paper will define the basic concept including the defination of migrant workers , working discrimination and its classification . Then , the paper will introduce the representation , reason and infuence of working discrimination and the analysis of it , especially the problems of pays , market opportunites , social secarity , etc . At lost , the papar concludes and draws on western experience and puts forward some ways to deal with these problems including enlarging the employment volumn , charging census register management system , reforming employment system , improving deucation training and perfecting law system to govern employment discrimiration problems .
