Abstract


Organization climate is a relative enduring characteristic of an organization that distinguishes it from other organizations. It is the cognitions that organization members share of objective characteristic of organization. Be as a very important social psychology factor, lots of research work has indicated the significant influence of organizational climate on individual’s incentive, attitude and satisfaction, finally the individual and organization efficiency and outcome. This research focused on the structure of organizational climate and the relationship between organizational climate and work performance, which have important theoretical and practical significance.This research was divided into three parts: the first part analyzed the inner structure of the organizational climate and established the questionnaire of organizational climate by interview in depth, open questionnaire and structural questionnaire investigation. The result indicated that organizational climate was a eight factors structure, they were work structure, work autonomy, warm and support, work goal, reward orientation, administrative efficiency, quality orientation, and relationship orientation. The result of data analysis showed that the questionnaire of organizational climate had good reliability and validity.The second part discussed the relationship between organizational climate and work performance by questionnaire investigation. We found that warm and support, work goal, work structure and work autonomy were good predicting factors of work dedication; Work goal, administrative efficiency, work autonomy and quality orientation were good predicting factors of task performance; Warm and support, reward orientation and work goal were good predicting factors of relationship facilitation; We also found that work dedication, task performance, relationship facilitation had effect on organizational climate.The third part discussed the organization variables difference of organizational climate. The variable including: style of company, scale of company and benefit of company. We found every antecedent variable had some significant effects on organizational climate.
