This study the influence of the positive ions in the polymerization system of the butyl rubber of each component and the polymerization conditions of the polymerization of butyl rubber , to determine its optimum polymerization conditions , and chain growth activation energy of the system is calculated . The experiments show that , in the butyl rubber polymerization process , the product of the slurry is unstable, and easy to form the precipitation of gel blocking . Polymerization technique, free basic body under different polymerization conditions to obtain the different chlorine content of the butyl rubber slurry stabilizer - terminal the chloroalkyl polystyrene (Cc PS ) . The AlCl 3 / Cc PS / CH 3 Cl system and TiCl of 4 / Cc PS / ( CH 2 Cl 2 / C 6 H 1 2) system to study the the Cc PS join , adding time and its concentration in butyl rubber is ion polymerization in the reaction rule . Is proved by an optical microscope in the butyl rubber polymerization process , with butyl rubber slurry stabilizer - terminal chloroalkyl polystyrene (Cc PS ) , can effectively reduce the gel in the product slurry , a stabilizing the role of the slurry ; 1 H- NMR , TG, and other methods to characterize the performance and structure of the product by GPC , IR , and Cc PS in the reaction mechanism of the cationic polymerization of butyl rubber .
