Self- shielded flux cored wire in a welding process without the continuous welding materials plus other ancillary protective measures to adapt to the automated production under poor working conditions , has been widely used in the construction of our infrastructure . No more mature self-shielded flux cored wire products supplier , a scene all types of self- shielded flux cored wire basically rely on imports , and in China's imports of various types of flux-cored , self - shielded flux cored wire -to-shore The price of the most expensive . Accelerate the research and development of self - shielded flux cored wire has become a consensus of the people in the industry . Self - shielded flux cored wire Shangqie exist some defects with the needs of the domestic market , the author hopes to develop a high- performance , cost-effective process performance and environmentally friendly high-performance surfacing with self - shielded flux cored wire . Therefore, the author proposed self - shielded flux cored wire metal powder core ideas , in order to improve the self - shielded flux cored wire smoke larger problems and improve the welding efficiency . The author in this research focused argumentation and rely mainly on the effects of C-Mn-Si and C -Al -Si without fluoride alloying elements to achieve non- slagging self - protection mechanism . In this research , the author identified a better welding performance , low alloy self- shielded flux cored wire , surfacing alloy composition 8Cr7Mn3Ti2Si2B , surface hardness HRC62 ; In order to further improve the performance of the welding wire technology , developed a low toxicity low dust low alloy self- shielded flux cored hardfacing alloy composition 9Cr6Al4Si3TiMoB, surface hardness HRC48, two wire surfacing layer metal Abrasive performance hardfacing with solid wire 25Cr3Mo2MnV surfacing metal resistance grinding performance of 23.6 times and 8.6 times . Conduct research on the detected CrSi2 surfacing alloy , I found that the vapor - liquid - solid mechanism (Vapour-Liquid-Solid mechanism) can reasonably explain the weld metal CrSi2 the formation while CrSi2 presence of welding metallurgy process confirmed the presence of the VLS mechanism . Therefore I believe that in-depth study on the VLS mechanism will contribute to a reasonable description of the welding process and effectively predict weld organizations .
