Abstract


Often inadequate because the controller battery protection for solar street lighting system battery overdischarge battery life is short and not higher system reliability problems , this paper proposes a new way of thinking of the remaining battery capacity (SOC) control law , designed the new solar street light controller with adaptive features , so the battery will not occur before discharge , extended battery life , improved solar street lighting system operational reliability . The paper first analyzes the structure and basic working principle of the battery , and the battery charge , the operating characteristics of the discharge process , affecting the battery life of the various factors and how to improve the battery performance also made a detailed analysis and research . Secondly, a battery charging and discharging of the mathematical model, a control method of the remaining battery capacity . Last remaining battery capacity control to design a new type of solar street light controller , given the specific hardware and software design and implementation process , after experimental testing and normal operation to achieve the desired effect , come to the conclusion this method is feasible to have some theoretical significance and practical value .
