The stability of the slope is determined by its internal and external factors. The internal factors of the slope are inherent, and the external factors mainly include rainfall events, earthquake, and human excavation. The slope failure occurred frequently because of rainfall events in recent years. Directed against the slope failure problem in the condition of rainfall events, after mastered the research situations and the new developments home and abroad of this problem according to a lot of international documents, and through many tests and theoretical analysis, this paper studies on the influence factors the mechanism of damage, the infiltration law the stability analysis of the slope and estimate.The paper puts forward to the partitions of types on the slope failure, and the main influence factors of slope failure including rainfall intensity N precipitation duration cumulative rainfall and rainfall style hi rainfall events. Also, the paper analyzes the mechanism of the slope failure in the condition of rainfall events.By means of the tests on the parameters of the soil-water characteristic curve about the unsaturated soil, the paper comes up with the soil-water characteristic curve for the testing soil hi different compactness with Van-Genuchten formula which is better among the same kind of formulas. Based on this, the paper deduces the corresponding permeability functions.With the help of indoor artificial raining test on the simulating road slope, the paper analyzes the variation of infiltration rate in the loess embankment slope and the moving rule of the moisture in the slope. Finally, makes some conclusions which provide the reference and basis for the designing and the construction execution of work.The paper sets up the two-dimension mathematic model under the condition of rain infiltration, determines the boundary conditions, come up with the regularity distribution of the water flow net for steady state and transient state. Based on this, couple analysis between infiltration net and stress net is finished, and safetycoefficient is calculated.After research of targets and criterion of stability and hazard evaluation under the condition of rainfall between the soil slope and rock slope, the paper offers the process and steps of multilevel fuzzy overall merit.
