Abstract


The strong disturbance associated with the occurrence of geomagnetic storms, the ionosphere will deviate from the normal state, the ionospheric storm. Ionospheric storms such extreme space weather phenomenon has a serious negative impact on a growing variety of space technology systems, has been the focus of the study of the ionosphere Weather. Terms of which of the ionosphere in low latitudes, the ionospheric storm morphology is still a lack of systematic research. This article through F layer critical frequency f o F 2 parameter East Asia - Australia sector ionosphere altimeter station network for nearly 50 years Statistical analysis reveals the region F layer peak the electronic concentration N m F 2 with geomagnetic activity, solar activity, seasonal and local change The morphological characteristics. The main results are: 1. During storms Japan Kokubunji station (139.5 ° E, 35.5 ° N, geomagnetic latitude 25.9 ° N) ionospheric response in the sun go further in the summer to negative storm mainly positive storm in winter, spring mainly negative storm in the autumn but minor disturbance; positive storm the sun low in the summer of winter storm, the positive storm mainly in spring and autumn. The station N m F 2 the disturbance with ap index in the summer sun go further negative correlation, regardless sun go further in the winter low average annual positive correlation, spring and fall in April and September in the summer sun go further similar characteristics, winter characteristics similar to the sun year in March and October. The ionosphere maximum negative phase perturbations relative maximum geomagnetic activity delay time is about 12 to 15 hours; the maximum positive phase perturbation delay time in 3 hours and 10 hours, respectively. Positive phase perturbations tend to place during geomagnetic active after dusk to midnight slot, while the negative phase disturbances tend to occur in the early morning.
