Land use - cover variation and land degradation mechanism and has a crucial role in the restoration and reconstruction of the regional environmental quality and human health, the main areas of research in contemporary physical geography, soil geochemical element abundances missing a direct impact on the quality of the land especially soil heavy metals pollution is the most important factor. Landscape conceptual ecological geochemical evaluation research on the subject is still little research at home and abroad, most of the studies have focused on the study of the geochemistry. Do some attempts in the Chengdu Economic Zone in this article, the use of the theory and its methods of landscape ecology and integrated geographic information system (3s), to analyze the vegetation pattern and soil pollution, especially pollution and vegetation landscape pattern contact and interaction mechanism discussed, speculated that the pollution trends, to obtain meaningful results: First, through consolidated Chengdu Economic Zone within the Chengdu, Deyang, Mianyang City, Meishan City all and Leshan City, the corresponding region of the six cities of Ya'an City land use status quo map, soil type map, forest map and geological map maps MapGIS on the establishment of the Chengdu economic zone vegetation type database, and generate 1:100 000 and 1:250 000 vegetation map reality grading; through geophysical and geochemical data acquired to generate five Chengdu Economic Zone of heavy metals mercury (Hg), arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb) and chromium (Cr) evaluation map for the further in-depth study has laid a solid foundation. Second, Chengdu Economic Zone in general on the type of landscape pattern of farmland for the matrix, surrounding mountain vegetation type, but fragmentation heavier; the region heavy metal contaminated areas are mostly distributed in the surrounding area, the area is relatively small, but cadmium pollution abnormalities, a larger area. Third, human activities to the surrounding area to expand direct result of fragmentation Chengdu economic zone surrounding the mountain vegetation, especially mining quarrying activities also contributed to the pollution of the soil of the region, vegetation fragmentation so weakened barrier function, at the same time exacerbated by the proliferation of soil pollution trends. Fourth, through the technology of repair of heavy metals in plants, derived Chengdu economic zone surrounding mountain should increase the protection of vegetation and mineral resources, a reasonable specification development eliminate Luancailuanwa; corresponding heavily polluted area should be reasonable to adjust the industrial structure, planting heavy metal adsorption capacity and of economic trees harmless to the human body. Fifth, the scientific use of sewage and pesticides, to avoid contamination of farmland in the district, rationally adjust the industrial structure of the surrounding mountains, repair of heavy metal pollution of the soil, to play surrounding mountain vegetation barrier function.
