Abstract


This paper studies the high-speed flight discrete rod penetration of typical metal target effects discussed discrete rod rod aerial flight during elastic deformation and air resistance effect, selecting appropriate damage model and calculation methods, application of large nonlinear dynamic finite element analysis software LS-DYNA, the discrete metal target rod penetrator typical process of numerical simulation. Use knowledge of aerodynamics , get shot aerodynamic coefficients of the various theoretical expression and utilization entropy principle , boundary layer theory, and other related plane supersonic flow around a theory, an expression of intermediate coefficients , and then find high-speed discrete rod flight drag and resistance moment , so as to study high-speed flight discrete rod aerial flight condition laid the foundation of aerodynamics . The use of vibration theory of knowledge , the discrete rod rod aerial flight during the elastic deformation studies , the results obtained , the elastic deformation of the rod will change the air resistance , and thus the movement of the lever impact ; take 45 degree diagonals for example , during the flight quantitative analysis of the pole elastic deformation movement. The results show that the elastic deformation of the rod has little effect on the movement , the main concern pole, target penetration problems , you can ignore the elastic deformation of the rod . Through the bars of the metal penetration into target discrete simulation study shows that high-speed flight slender rod can penetrate the target plate from different angles , forming different degrees of damage . Penetration process presents complex plastic stress wave propagation methods , resulting in the formation of irregular surface damage and broken rod complex situation . Penetration parameters of each study can be seen, the material properties and the air had little effect on the penetration resistance , while the initial velocity , target thickness and the angle of penetration penetration effect is more obvious . The damage effect on the assessment of need comprehensive consideration of the remaining kinetic energy of the rod , the weight loss target plate , break area and the plastic deformation zone and many other factors .
