Abstract


Hubei Church Rite ritual music is a Hubei Han private funeral ritual music , it runs through the whole Church offering ceremony ceremony of the Tang Ji behavior means and structure behind the profound traditional Chinese culture connotation , generated on the basis of the patriarchal system of China's feudal society and cultural values ??of the Confucian tradition of filial piety , spirits beliefs, ancestor worship , witchcraft believe in primitive belief is also an important spiritual and cultural constituent elements . In China the process of transition from a traditional society to modern society , many ritual traditions is on the verge of disappearance of the Church offering ceremony music as well . Therefore, its rescue of records , sorting and research is a very significant issue . In this paper, based on the proposed the American ethnomusicologist May Yam \method , the structure of the Church offering ceremony and its music , and morphological features of its interpretation of the cultural origins and function and significance of the induction , and strive to objectively reveal the show and the use of the hall offering ceremony music at the ceremony , as well as their belief systems , ceremony , ritual music among interaction.
