Abstract


Micro Control Unit (MCU) technology, as an important branch of computer technology, is widely used in industrial controling, intelligent instruments, household appliances, even electronic toys and other fields. It is small, multi-functional, low cost, and has the advantages of convenient and practical using, flexibile system designing, and etc. Therefore, it attracts more and more engineers’ attention. At present, national secondary vocational schools take MCU course as an important foundational course as well as an useful, practical and interesting course. However, MCU is a difficult course for vocational students to learn, for it is a course integrated both hardware usage and software programming, and requires not only good knowledge of electronic technology, but also ability of logical thinking. Furthermore, traditional textbooks at present mainly introduce the principles and program instructions of MCU, but overlook the importance of MCU practical training. In this thesis, on the basis of the theoretical knowledge of MCU, using circuit analysis techniques, by designing each circuit module of the control functions, it enables the installation and debugging of the physical MCU training and testing device in accordance with the laws of the student’s cognitive level. In addition, this thesis attempts to provide pilot training methods and assessment tools for vocational and technical education, by structure analysis, physical building and program verification of the entire device, to enhance students’ perceptions and to achieve the purpose of arising students’learning motivation, and to improve the teaching effect, then eventually make the theory and the practice united perfectly.This paper systematically analyzes the composition and structure of the MCU training assessment devices, designs the schematic diagram, assembly diagram, detail schema of real object. It uses the project teaching ideas, with specific program instances verification, to promote a better grasp of MCU theory and application of the students. In order to successfully complete this thesis work, I have studied the MCU course teaching and laboratory situation in 12 secondary vocational schools in Changsha, which have set up electricity major, and analysed the current MCU setting situation in secondary vocational schools and the resolve method of this course teaching.This paper makes the MCU training and testing device as a platform, combines with the practical application of MCU in daily life, designs six typical module circuits:host control module, the keyboard module, electronic clock module, traffic light module, dot matrix display module and washing machine module. During my teaching period in Aerospace school, Changsha, after the students’practice training for nearly a semester, it proved that this device can not only solve the problem of training device shortage and boring course teaching, but also arise the learning enthusiasm of the students, resulting in transfering the students easily from entirely textbooks learning to independence, initiative, interesting practical training sessions. So their study methods can change from passive acceptance of knowledge into active exploring and solving problems under the guidance of teachers.
