Abstract


The purpose of this study was to understand the Chinese college adult undergraduate students, who face the mental stress, acquisition and use social support and their existing learning burnout(take Guangzhou university as an example), and further to discuss the relationships among mental stress、social support and learning burnout. On this basis, suggest constructing a social supporting system which takes the school as the center, school, work unit and family as a trinity. We can use this social supporting system to intervene in the learning tiredness, help the student to reduce learning burnout psychology and improve their learning quality.This study adopts questionnaire, use life events scale LES (YangDeSen, ZhangYaLin,1986), social support rating scale (XiaoShuiYuan,1990) and college students’ learning burnout inventory (LianRong, YangLiXian, WuLanHua,2005).683 adult students in Guangzhou University were selected to experience. Using their class time, I conducted to the collective test. The data obtained by SPSS16.0 software data statistics and analysis. In the first place, through descriptive statistics, show the general status of the college adult undergraduate students’ mental stress (including family life、work and study、and social and the other three aspects), social support (including three dimensions of objective support、subjective support、and social support exploitation degree) and learning burnout (including depression improper behaviors、and achievement low three dimensions). Secondly, we adopt independent sample t-test, or one-way ANOVA of statistical methods for analysis of the related data, through the comparative study, comparing Different background characteristics and status features of college adult undergraduate students’ psychological stress, social support and learning burnout, analyzes the differences of college adult undergraduate students’ mental stress, social support and learning burnout group distribution characteristics. Again, by using correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis, this paper discusses the statistical methods of college adult undergraduate students’ mental stress、social support、learning burnout and their dimensions, and the relationships among variables. Finally, on this basis, suggest constructing a social supporting system which takes the school as the center, school、work unit and family as a trinity to intervene in study tiredness.Based on the questionnaire survey, through the strict statistical analysis for the collecting data, this study results showed that:1. College adult undergraduate students’ mental stress (including family life、work and study、and social and the other three aspects) average level is higher than the college adult undergraduate students,which belong to the social psychological pressure groups; Their mental stress is quite different in background characteristics (reflected in the gender、marriage status and family economic aspects) and Status features(reflected in the professional aspect).2. College adult undergraduate students’ social support degrees and objective support degree are in middle rude level, and subjective support and to the social support exploitation degree are in above the average level; Their social support is remarkable different in background characteristics (reflected in the gender、marriage status、employment situation and family economic aspects) and Status features(reflected in the professional、academic level and learning forms).3. College adult undergraduate students’ learning burnout feeling (including depression、improper behaviors、and achievement low three dimensions) in general is modest slightly rude degree; Their learning burnout is significant different in background characteristics (reflected in the marriage status、employment situation and family economic aspects) and Status features (reflected in the grade aspect).4. The relationships among College adult undergraduate students’ mental stress、social support、learning burnout and their dimensions variables are as follows:(1) College adult undergraduate students’ mental stress of negative events、family life (negative events)、work and study (negative events) and learning burnout of average、depressed、misconduct、achievement low is a significant positive correlation; Their learning burnout demonstrates a very big regression effect on mental stress of work and study (negative events), so overall mental stress level for learning burnout level generally has a good prediction effect.(2) College adult undergraduate students’ social support of total、subjective support、utilizing degree and mental stress of negative events、family life (negative events)、work and study (negative events) is a significant negative correlation, objective support and mental stress of negative events、work and study (negative events) is a significant negative correlation; Their mental stress demonstrates a big regression effect on subjective support.(3) College adult undergraduate students’ social support of total、objective support、subjective support、utilizing degree and learning burnout of average、depressed、misconduct、achievement low is a significant negative correlation; Their learning burnout demonstrates a very big regression effect on subjective support, learning burnout demonstrates a big regression effect on social support of utilizing degree, so overall social support level for learning burnout level generally has a good prediction effect.(4) College adult undergraduate students’ learning burnout demonstrates very big regression effects on mental stress (negative events value)and social support(total), Explain their mental stress and social support for learning burnout have good prediction effects, and the social support effect obviously affects more than mental stress effect.Finally, on this basis, suggest constructing a social supporting system which takes the school as the center, school、work unit and family as a trinity.
