Abstract


The research attempts to explore origin of the thought of formation and contentof Literary garden on the Yangtze Delta, based on analyses and aggregate to it, so asto generalize the kind of layout of scholar’s gardens at south of the Yangtze River andits influence of artistic conception’s construction.The layout of literary garden on the Yangtze Delta is to arrange the variouselements of it. First, the research takes it into the system of Chinese traditional gardenin order to analyze the idealization, historical status, social background, philosophicalconnotation and the relationship of civilization. After holding the inducement ofcivilization of the garden, the paper epurates the inscape in substance and space.According to the latent rule——people’s actions affect the space organization, useChinese traditional civilization and some correlation theory to explore the overallarrangement in space and the influence of artistic conception’s construction.The paper analyzes the water treatment which is the core element of the Chineseliterary gardens’ layout plan, divides it into centralization and decentralization, pointsout that different layout plan may have different influences of the construction of thespace. Further more, through the analysis of the plan, the vertical planes and thespatial organization, it explains the relationship between the main buildings and thewater and emphasizes the influence of the concept plan, the physical elements, visualorganization, circulation, landscape symbols and aesthetic themes of the constructionof artistic conception.
