Abstract


Foreign direct investment in the context of economic globalization , multinational companies continue to expand on a global scale , but not on the spatial distribution of a balanced state , the cross-border flow of capital but showing significant geographic concentration trends , this trend showed significant industrial concentration and spatial agglomeration characteristics . Multinational companies by virtue of its strong capital and leading technology, management and market knowledge to obtain a dominant position in international competition . Foreign Direct Investment of knowledge gathering means that multinational companies together in a geographical range of the host and bring tangible capital and other resources , not only for the host country and, more importantly , knowledge transfer effect triggered by FDI agglomeration . Local enterprises through the digestion and absorption of knowledge transfer of multinational companies , the ability to be raised , and to contribute to regional economic growth . Our country is currently faced with upgrading the industrial structure , improving the region's international competitiveness and the dual task to improve the quality and level of foreign investment policies to attract investment not just stop at the primary level, how to provide incentives to attract multinational companies . China should be industrial agglomeration of FDI as a way of further development of China 's open economy , to take the spatial concentration of multinational corporations in China's investment industry contacts combine and promote its countermeasures to transfer more knowledge to the local enterprises . In this paper, the FDI theory and the theory of knowledge transfer , trying multinationals to local enterprises knowledge transfer problem from a new angle FDI gathering research . First of all , on the differentiated the basis of the comparison FDI agglomeration and localization gathering define FDI gathering , describing its spatial characteristics and industry characteristics , and FDI agglomeration formation made ??the theoretical explanation . Then , compare gather FDI relative dispersion advantages of FDI on knowledge transfer , focusing on the ways and process analysis based on FDI gathering knowledge transfer , and a detailed description of the local enterprises to be promoted through the digestion and absorption capacity of the knowledge process . The combined FDI gathering knowledge transfer theoretical studies as well as China 's FDI gather their knowledge transfer problems, the end of this article pointed out that China should take effective measures from to guide FDI gathering and promote knowledge transfer in the FDI agglomeration .
