Abstract


Urbanization is a concomitant of industrialization and modernization, it is a sign of the progress of human civilization, has been the focus of attention. Will speed up the process of urbanization as milestones in particular, China is in the new era of the building of the Central Economic eleventh five-year plan, the city has become a new bright spot in the current national economic development, which also sparked the connotation of urbanization accelerate research and power. Finance as the core of modern economy, the urbanization as an important driving force of modern economic and social development, the study of the relationship between financial development and urbanization should also drawn wide attention. This theory has a very important significance for the use of limited financial resources, in reality, a breakthrough in the process of urbanization financial bottlenecks, and give full play to the role of financial urbanization, and better meet the needs of the development of urbanization. From this perspective, from the point of view of theoretical and empirical, more comprehensive study of the relationship between China's financial development and urbanization. In the theoretical part, the paper first analyze and summarize the financial development and urbanization relations theory and research scholars, and then review the course of development of China's financial development and urbanization Finally, based on the study of financial development and urbanization the process of interaction mechanisms, interaction theory of financial development and urbanization - Financial to speed up the process of urbanization; urbanization by people higher proportion of savings into investment, improve the efficiency of capital allocation, change people's spending habits , financial, and material gathered, increased capital requirements in the urban economy, to promote the rapid development of the stability of the financial sector. In the empirical part, first as a control variable in economic growth, level of education, and infrastructure construction indicators, establish VAR model with the control variables, from the national level using cointegration test and Granger causality test to the expansion of the scale of the financial development relationship between restructuring and efficiency change and urbanization research; then create a panel data model and cross-sectional data model, feasible generalized least squares method and the method of least squares from two levels of the provinces and cities on China the relationship between financial development and the level of urbanization for the comprehensive study, the empirical results support the theory. Found through empirical research: a stable long-term positive relationship between the national level, the expansion of the size of China's financial development, structural adjustment and efficiency change and urbanization; reform and opening-up, financial development is a one-way process of urbanization. Granger reason. Decentralized to the provincial and municipal or city level and above level, the development of China's financial role in promoting the urbanization is still very significant of; there are regional differences in the development of China's financial role in the urbanization.
