Abstract


In recent years , the field of the social sciences and humanities , identity theory increasingly attracted researchers' attention . Scholars of international relations theory , identity theory with constructivism rise gradually aroused attention , has become the forefront of academic research of international relations theory . The identity of the concept at the core of the constructivist theory , in a sense, constructivism is a theory of identity politics . Constructivist view , the identity is flexible and with a certain subjectivity , it generates is the result of internal and external co-construct the identity identified by the subject to some extent determine the country 's interests and behavior . The constructivism starting from the ontology of the identity of this redefinition of certain theoretical significance , not only reflect and explain the reality of international relations , constructivism through identity to open a new window analysis of national acts , therefore has great practical significance . This paper attempts to constructivism as a theoretical platform of the constructivist theory of identity theory specifically with the system , and thus to clarify the significance of identity theory in international relations , and this is a strong point , the contact of which the international community the reality of our national identity in the new century thinking necessary .
