Relationships between Marital Quality and Reproductive Health and Its Related KAB among Married Women in Child-bearing Age in Rural Anhui

Abstract


Objective To understand the current situation of married women in rural Anhui marital quality, and to explore the relationship between women's reproductive health and related knowledge, attitudes, behavior. Methods maturity questionnaire and self-developed questionnaire, household survey of 15 administrative villages in the three counties of Anhui Province all qualified women of childbearing age at home, a total of 1398 people. Using SPSS statistical software to analyze data using descriptive analysis and correlation analysis. Results (1) The subject of the investigation in about 60% of the people feel that their marriage is quite satisfactory, character compatibility selected in this study, couples exchange, conflict resolution, economic arrangements, marital satisfaction, sexual life, children and eight factors of the marriage, the role of equality before the four scores were higher than the U.S. norm, but the role of equal score lower than the U.S. norm and findings in the three towns in China. / Cultural stratification by age, suggesting that the lower the age, the higher the education level, the better the quality of marriage. (2) the degree of dysmenorrhea and associated symptoms, marital quality factor by the precursor symptoms and premenstrual anxiety, symptoms of depression, postpartum psychiatric symptoms are negatively correlated; role equal factor negative correlation between number of pregnancies, and puerperium appears three of these symptoms after seeking behavior is positively correlated. (3) in respect of the relevant knowledge: the various dimensions of marital quality and mastery of knowledge, there are different degrees of association, especially couples exchange, conflict resolution, sexual life, equal role strong correlation factor with knowledge. But the correlation weakened with increasing education level of knowledge and the quality of marriage. Related attitudes: reproductive health-related attitudes and marital quality no correlation. Related behavior: the factor of the quality of marriage and sexual health, sexual partners exchange exists widely associated that marital quality factor the higher the score, the better sexual health, sexual partners exchange behavior; no correlation with the quality of marriage and condom use behavior. Conclusion married women in rural Anhui marital quality at a medium level, but the role of equality to be further improved. Reproductive health knowledge, behavior and marital quality was correlated, suggesting that women's reproductive health is not simply a biological problems associated with the quality of marriage and other multi-factor. Concerned about the reproductive health of women can not just start from the biological point of view, but also to create a good society, the family environment, and comprehensively improve their physical and mental health.
