Abstract


Were moving into the English vocabulary common linguistic phenomenon and human nouns were moving into plays an important role in people's cognitive activity. However, a large number of studies on the phenomenon of focusing only on word formation, semantic relations and metaphor, and tend to ignore the perspective of Cognitive Linguistics Language Categorization. Put aside a lot of research on the phenomenon of word formation, semantic relations, from a cognitive linguistics basic level categories angle to start, can give the name of the human word transformation is a new cognitive interpretation. The linguist Rosch (1976), we rely on the basic level categories be understanding of the world and interpret the world, these basic level categories allow us to pay a minimum of cognitive effort and harvest the maximum amount of information. Thinking activities consist primarily of gestalt perception (Gestalt perception), the formation of the image (mental imagery), and kinesthetic function (motor movement) in the level of basic level categories. The image is one of the basic ingredients of the cognitive, kinesthetic image building subject to the people of the underlying basic knowledge, such as knowledge. In the future, research in this area will become even more in-depth and improving. In addition, the importance of basic-level category theory will become increasingly prominent and applied to the interpretation of the language phenomenon.
