Abstract


This article from the rise of mohism, decline and revival, mohism was studied in three aspects, decline and revival of analyzed the historical background and social reasons. Mohist Renaissance influenced modern Chinese ideology and culture, which is of great significance, but the value of its legal thought has not caused enough attention. Mozi legal thought modern value, mainly reflected in its "universal love", "attack", "attaching", etc. Mozi in more than two thousand years ago as opposed to war, defending the peace, and overcome the abuse each other between people of chaos, and attack "universal love", in a sense is the "theories" of international law, rights germ of an idea. The author thinks that, before the modern scholars from the perspective of legal thought, excavates mohism, this is a drawback. The article mainly discusses the mo-tse's legal thought and the modern significance of mozi legal thought.
