The low energy beam transport efficiency was promoted after three steps had been actualized. The first step is increase the grads of the electric field of the accelerate tube, the second step is refit the primal three accelerate rings into a focal lens, the third step is add a negative voltage on the last accelerate ring. The transport efficiency of 100keV deuterium beam was promoted from less than 30% to 66%; also, The transport efficiency of 150keV and 200keV deuterium beam has been promoted on a certain extent.A new buncher has been designed and processed. The new buncher can bunch the deuterium beam in the course of conventionality when its energy is from 100keV to 400keV. Use the new buncher, the pulse of low energy deuterium beam can be bunched to less than 2.5ns.An experiment has been set out to validate the effect of the new buncher. The result show that the FWHM (Full Wave at Half Maximum) of the 100keV pulse of deuterium beam is 2. 43ns.All the results are up to the requires of the users.
