Abstract


Cambrian - Ordovician hydrocarbon source rocks are mainly developed in the basin area , and generally has a low abundance of organic matter , high maturity, gone through too many cycles tectonic movements in the oil and gas generation and gathering process complex features . The complex Cambrian - Ordovician hydrocarbon source rocks of oil and gas generation , the generation of the evaluation directly affect the evaluation of the exploration potential and favorable target preferred decision-making . To solve this problem , this paper explore research through the pyrolysis experiments , conventional thermal simulation experiment , combined with established principles of chemical kinetics of hydrocarbon generation kinetic model , calibrated marine source rocks in the kinetic parameters , kinetic parameters Tarim Basin burial history and thermal history modeling Cambrian - Ordovician source rock hydrocarbon generation history , Cambrian - Ordovician source rocks dynamic , quantitative evaluation , thus guiding the major exploration targets preferred . The evaluation showed that the Cambrian - Ordovician hydrocarbon source rocks in the total amount of gas for 9190 one hundred billion cubic meters ( the natural gas from the genesis of the kerogen into gas and crude oil cracking were evaluated kerogen into gas 3295 one thousand billion cubic meters of crude oil cracked into gas 5890 one hundred billion cubic meters ), the net surplus oil amounted to 174 billion tons . Cheese with into hydrocarbons occurs mainly in the Caledonian , crude oil cracking occurs mainly in the Hercynian of hydrocarbon generation is almost at a standstill , while in the Mesozoic era , the Cenozoic , there are a large number of oil and gas generation . Cambrian - Ordovician hydrocarbon source rocks in strength , and the Tarim Basin tectonic framework Tabei and Tazhong areas for oil and gas favorable point zone , and tower East and Taxinan also has a large exploration potential.
