Abstract


Processing trade and general trade of China's foreign trade in two main ways . Two different trade patterns is the main line of this study for the role of economic growth in Shanghai . In this paper, in recent years, statistics , output elasticity of exports from trade , many specific indicators of the contribution to economic growth , the contribution rate of the export value-added rate, improve the industrial structure comparative analysis of the two trade on Shanghai's economic growth characteristics of the role and the corresponding regional economic effects . Different trade role in boosting the economic growth of a region is different . The single from the contribution of exports to economic growth , the general trade contribution to economic growth is higher than the processing trade , which can be confirmed from the empirical analysis section . Shanghai general trade has long been the dominant theoretical level made ??a reasonable explanation , but also for the transformation and upgrading of processing trade in Shanghai, the need to find theoretical support . With the increasing levels of processing trade processing , the processed form of escalating domestic value chain will gradually lengthened, the increasingly close links with the domestic industry , its role in the economic growth will become more and more prominent . The attitude we should take to avoid weaknesses treat the two kinds of trade , give full play to the role of the beneficial aspects of economic growth , to avoid its negative aspects of economic growth , and improve the adjustment of the two trade can reasonably coordinated development go hand in hand . Policy should be gradually unified treatment of general trade and processing trade policy , both to be able to compete on an equal footing , and let the market objectively select the most beneficial , effective trade and enterprise .
